Technical

The FlameShield application provides a cost-effective and reliable flame-retardant solution that adheres to industry performance standards. For optimal results, we recommend using an airless application method with a constant pressure electric pump.

Fibre composition affects certification requirements. Superior performance has been demonstrated on cotton, polyester, nylon, wool, rayon/viscose, and their respective blends.

All materials undergo pre-testing to ensure adherence to high quality standards and to assess absorbency levels for determining appropriate application quantities. Fabrics exhibiting water repellency cannot be treated. Additional assessments include tests for colourfastness and water sensitivity; as such, we refrain from treating viscose pile, brocade, silk, satin, artificial silk/taffeta, or fabrics with special heat or water finishes, such as moiré.

Application of FlameShield is conducted in strict accordance with local occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
